Nasal discharge in my dog: causes

Your dog, likeyou, can have a runny nose. But there is a difference; dogs do not have an innocent nose cold. When the dog sneezes, he can get itching or pain in his nose and suffer from inflamed eyes. If it is a bigger problem, the dog can get stuffy and start snoring when he breathes.

Causes of nasal problems:

Nosebleed in dogs

A hard blow to the nose, inflammation, a tumor in the nose or a malfunction in blood clotting can be causes of nosebleeds. If your dog suddenly has a bloody nose, you don't have to worry about it, but it can be very annoying. Therefore, make sure that dog stays calm. You can try to stop the bleeding by holding something cold to your dog's nose. Do not try to keep the nose closed as a dog always breathes through the nose. If the dog has a nosebleed more often or the bleeding does not stop, go to the veterinarian.
